Celebrating 10 years of partnership with Trinity Washington University

On October 8, 2026, MMEG and Trinity Washington University came together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their successful partnership. Since the program began in 2016, it has supported 24 women students in pursuing their educational goals and strengthening their ability to create positive change in their families, professions, and communities.

Over the past decade, MMEG-Trinity grantees have studied in a wide range of fields, including nursing, public health, education, occupational therapy, psychology, counseling, business administration, and early childhood education. Through their studies and careers, these women are making meaningful contributions in their communities and serving as role models for future generations.

The celebration opened with remarks from Patricia McGuire, President of Trinity Washington University and Vesna de la Borde, President of MMEG, who reflected on the importance of expanding educational opportunities for women. Their remarks were followed by an inspiring panel discussion featuring four MMEG-Trinity grant recipients, who shared their educational journeys, career achievements, and the impact of the program on their lives.

For MMEG, this partnership reflects a shared belief in the transformative power of education. Over the past ten years, MMEG and Trinity Washington University have worked together to support talented women as they pursue their academic goals, develop their leadership potential, and build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

As MMEG celebrates this milestone, we look forward to continuing our partnership with Trinity and supporting many more inspiring women in the years ahead.

We invite you to meet our Trinity grantees and learn more about their educational journeys and achievements here.
