Annual MMEG ARTS &CRAFTS Fair is coming. VISIT AND SHOP FOR A CAUSE!

The fair is MMEG's most important fundraising event. 15% of all sales support educational grants for women from developing countries. You will find beautiful handcrafted accessories, decorative objects, food from around the world and much more.

In 2017, MMEG awarded 33 grants to women studying in the USA, Canada, South Africa and Latin America. Click on "Grant Recipients" under "What We Do" for the full list of recipients.

In March 2017, the Thread of Life recognized that women are the warp of social fabric in every country. Esther Kisaakye (2005 grantee and current Supreme Court Justice in Uganda) and Laura Balbuena  (2004 grantee and Director of the Gender Institute of Peru) inspired us with presentations on their work. 

In 2016, MMEG celebrated its 35th Anniversary with MMEG's first Grantee Marion Subah and Ingrid Meintjes.
